The Great Gatsby chapter 4 notes

-Gatsby tells Nick about his past
-Gatsby speeds through the valley of ashes and enters the city a policeman tries to pull him over but Gatsby shows him a white card and he apologizes for bothering him.
-Gatsby introduces Nick to Meyer Wolfsheim.
-After lunch Nick sees Jordan who finally tells him about the conversation that her and Gatsby were talking about.
-Gatsby is in love with Daisy.
-When Daisy was young girl she fell in love with a Lieutenant named Jay Gatsby.
-Thought she choose to marry Tom after Gatsby left to war
-Jordan told Nick that if he can arrange a reunion with Daisy.

Great Gatsby chapter 4

we read that Nick goes to the party that Gatsby threw and he sees Jordan their and the meet these 2 girls in twin Yellow dresses that knew who Jordan was but Jordan didn't know who they were they left to sit down at a table and they all say together and with 3 men that were all named Mr.Mumble they start talking about Gatsby.That Gatsby was a German spy during the war. Nick also hears that Gatsby is a graduate of Oxford and that he once killed a man in cold blood.Nick and Jordan, curious about their host, set out to find Gatsby. Instead, they run into a middle-aged man with huge, owl-eyed spectacles in the library.Nick and Jordan go outside to watch the entertainment and sit at a table with a handsome young man who says that Nick looks familiar to him. The man introduces himself as none other than Jay Gatsby.Nick becomes increasingly fascinated with Gatsby.Nick follows the advice of Daisy and Tom and begins seeing Jordan.Nick says that Jordan is fundamentally a dishonest person.

So far we read that Nick meets Tom's mistress.The mistress is married to Wilson and the mistress is Mrs.Wilson she lies to her husband in order to sneak out and go with Tom she tells her husband that she is going to see her sister.Tom takes Mrs.Wilson out and she wants to buy a puppy to keep in Tom's secret apartment.Mrs Wilson changes attitudes.
